.DISCUSSION...
Winds this afternoon will move around to be out of the northwest
from west to east, becoming easterly by sunrise Friday morning, and
returning to southerly by Friday evening. There is a very small
Marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe storms in far northeast
SD and west central MN this evening. Confidence is low that storms
will actually move across our area, but if they do, primary hazards
will be 1 inch diameter hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
Friday, highs will be 15-20 degrees above average, warmest across
central SD. Afternoon relative humidity values will fall into the 30-
35% range west river and into the 35-50% range east of the Missouri.
River. Portions of north central and south central SD will get 30 to
35 mph wind gusts during the afternoon hours.
