.DISCUSSION...

A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible this evening across
parts of central and northeast South Dakota, but overall mostly dry
conditions are expected for most locales. Winds will remain light
and variable overnight with more fog developing in spots, especially
across northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota. Winds on
Tuesday will also remain light generally from the east to northeast.
A less active pattern will take hold Tuesday through Wednesday as
our area remains between high pressure to the east and low pressure
across the Rockies and High Plains. Temperatures will gradually warm
through the middle of the week with 80s and 90s for highs. Minimum
relative humidity values will be lowest in areas along and west of
the Missouri River where values will range between 35 and 40 percent
both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
