.DISCUSSION...

Hot temperatures are expected across the region on Thursday,
especially across central SD with readings rising into the 90s to
around 100 degrees. Afternoon humidity is forecast to fall to
between 25 and 35 percent across much of central SD. Although, winds
look to be fairly light over central SD, with the strongest winds
(southerly direction) setting up over eastern portions of the
forecast area.

On Friday, humidity values are not forecast to be quite so low, with
readings generally from 40 to 50 percent over central SD. Winds
direction is forecast to be from the northeast to east.
