.DISCUSSION...

An area of low pressure will reside across the Dakotas through at
least Thursday of next week. The result is above normal temperatures,
high dewpoints, and at least low chances for showers and storms at
times. There is a marginal risk for severe storms across portions of
the forecast area each of the next three days. If strong storms are
able to develop, the main concern would be damaging wind gusts up to
around 60 mph and large hail up to around inch in diameter. Heavy
rainfall is also a concern heading into the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will showcase minimum relative humidity values
greater than 60 percent throughout the Missouri River valley, with
values east of the Missouri River valley generally in the 45 to 60
percent range.
