.DISCUSSION...
A weak and broad area of low pressure will be over South Dakota
today, leading to winds staying below 20 mph. The direction will vary
some, but a generally easterly wind is expected over the north, with
a south to southwesterly direction south of US-212. Afternoon
humidity is forecast to be lowest across south central SD, with
readings from 30 to 35 percent. Showers and thunderstorms are
possible across parts of the region this afternoon and evening.
On Monday, high pressure will move over the area and again keep winds
below 20 mph. Afternoon humidity ranging from near 25-30 percent
across central SD, to 40-45 percent across northeast SD into west
central MN. Dry conditions are expected on Monday.
