.DISCUSSION...

Well above normal temperatures will continue through Saturday with
wind gusts between 30 to 40 mph through Sunday, with locally higher
gusts possible. Minimum relative humidity will range from 20-40% this
afternoon, lowest over portions of south central SD, where there is
an elevated fire danger concern. Saturday`s minimum relative
humidity will range between 25-65%, lowest over southern Lyman
County and portions of east central SD.

A cold front over western and central South Dakota Saturday will
slowly move across eastern South Dakota on Sunday. The cold front
will bring showers and a few thunderstorms to the area Saturday
night through Sunday morning, along with stronger winds shifting out
of the northwest on Sunday. The chance of receiving 0.25 inches of
rain or more Saturday night into Sunday morning is greater than 50
percent northwest of a line from Pierre to Aberdeen.
