...The National Weather Service in Aberdeen SD has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota...

  Grand River near Little Eagle affecting Corson County.

.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes
precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation
could affect the forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Grand River near Little Eagle.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, low-lying pasture and hay land along the
  river begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM MDT Tuesday the stage was 14.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 15.5 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
