The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South Central Codington County in northeastern South Dakota...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 753 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding on
  roadways halfway up car tires in Watertown. Between 1 and 2 inches
  of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches
  are possible in the warned area.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Watertown, Goose Lake, Rauville, Watertown City Park, Pelican
  Lake, Lake Kampeska, Dakota Sioux Casino, Sandy Shore Rec Area,
  Memorial Park Camping Site and southern Lake Traverse Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
