* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Western San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 457 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
  El Porvenir, or 8 miles west of Las Vegas. This storm was
  stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  El Porvenir, San Geronimo, San Pablo, Mineral Hill, Ojitos Frios
  and Gallinas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
