630 PM MDT...

At 539 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm outflow
boundary extending from 11 miles northeast of Mesita to 6 miles west
of South Valley, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Western Albuquerque, Los Lunas, Mesita and Tohajiilee.

This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 119 and 154.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
