...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN
TORRANCE...NORTHERN GUADALUPE AND SOUTHWESTERN SAN MIGUEL COUNTIES
UNTIL 1230 AM MDT...

At 1206 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 9 miles northwest of Variadero to 10
miles southwest of Anton Chico, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Colonias, Dilia, Santa Rosa Lake State Park, Anton Chico,
  Trujillo, Variadero, Villanueva State Park, Villanueva, Tecolotito
  and Trementina.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 236 and 263.
State Road 104 between Mile Markers 27 and 72.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
