...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN VALENCIA...BERNALILLO
AND SOUTHERN SANDOVAL COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM MDT...

At 544 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
South Valley, or 9 miles south of Albuquerque, and is stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Albuquerque, southern Rio Rancho, Corrales, Los Ranchos De
  Albuquerque, South Valley, Isleta Pueblo, Paradise Hills, North
  Valley and Alameda.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 140 and 165.
Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 208 and 235.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
