...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Temperatures from 100 to 102 expected.

* WHERE...Northwest Plateau.

* WHEN...From noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hottest temperatures in the low 100s will
  be along the San Juan River Valley. Record high temperatures are
  expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
