.DISCUSSION...

Radar rainfall estimates show that between one quarter and three
quarters of an inch fell over the wildfire within the past 24
hours. Similar amounts are likely over the next 24 hours. A batch
of showers currently moving through the area now will end around
10 AM this morning. After a break mid-day, more showers and storms
will re-develop during the mid and late afternoon. Some storms
could produce heavy rainfall rates and there is a threat of flash
flooding today. Another batch of persistent showers is likely
during the overnight period. Storms are likely again Friday
afternoon. Friday`s storms could produce strong outflow wind
gusts and small hail.

the morning, then numerous showers and storms
in the afternoon.
