.DISCUSSION...
Spotty showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and
continue into the evening hours across northwest NM. Gusty outflow
winds will be common, and the latest guidance suggests that storms to
the east of Farmington will result in east winds across Farmington
late this afternoon and early evening with gusts upwards of 35 or 40
mph. Storms will taper off late tonight, but isolated thunderstorms
may return on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Otherwise,
temperatures will remain hot. Minimum daytime humidity values will
be around 10 percent higher than yesterday for both today and
Wednesday.

                    showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
