.DISCUSSION...
Light showers and perhaps a stray thunderstorm will continue over the
burn site early this morning. After a brief break, additional showers
and thunderstorms are expected to develop during the mid afternoon
hours. These storms will be capable of brief heavy rainfall and
erratic wind gusts. Though not continuous, showers and thunderstorms
may periodically impact the burn site from mid afternoon through
early morning Tuesday. Should the burn site receive multiple direct
hits from thunderstorms, more than one half inch of rainfall would be
possible. Drier air at mid and upper levels is still expected to
move into the area on Tuesday. This will reduce precipitation chances
significantly as compared to today and any rainfall amounts, if they
occurred, would be minimal.
