.DISCUSSION...

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected near
the area today, with most activity likely to develop by 1 PM. Most
storms will be capable of gusty winds up to 40 mph and locally
heavy rainfall over half an inch. Repeated rounds of storms
through the afternoon may bring about localized flooding in and
around the area, especially given the sloped terrain. Activity
should start to taper off by 8 PM tonight, though there is a
slight chance of a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm from
12 to 6 AM. Tomorrow will feature much of the same, except
temperatures will be a degree or two cooler. Gusty winds and
locally heavy rainfall will be possible again from any storm.
