.DISCUSSION...
Thursday will be similar to Wednesday, with isolated thunderstorms
favoring the high terrain before moving toward the southwest in the
afternoon. Though there is a low chance the burn area will take a
direct hit, nearby showers or storms may produce gusty and erratic
outflows that will impact the burn area. The upper level high weakens
slightly on Friday, which will allow for a slight increase in storm
coverage and potential for a direct hit. Gusty winds will remain a
concern. Temperatures will be 8 to 10 degrees above normal both
Thursday and Friday.
