Showers and thunderstorms will be favored across northern New Mexico today through Monday, before expanding across all of New Mexico on Tuesday and Wednesday. Areas of heavy rainfall are expected, especially across northeast and north central areas where two to five inches of rainfall will be possible through the period. A trend toward cooler temperatures and higher humidities will prevail through Wednesday before the trend reverses slowly. Wednesday will be the coolest day of the week with all areas 5 to 15 degrees below normal. ................................................................
