368 FNUS55 KABQ 061223 FWFABQ Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North and Central New Mexico National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 623 AM MDT Fri Jun 6 2025 .DISCUSSION... Drier air will continue funneling over the forecast area from the southwest today through the weekend with increasing coverage of sub-15% humidities each day. Showers and thunderstorms will occur each afternoon and evening across eastern areas with the lowest coverage on Saturday. Moisture with backdoor fronts will arrive nightly over eastern areas this weekend through Tuesday, then mix out daily to some extent. These fronts will make greater progress into central and western areas early next week, spreading showers and storms as far west as the AZ border by Tuesday. Gusty virga showers and dry thunderstorms will be found along the western edge of the moisture each day next week with wetting precip favoring the central mountain chain eastward. ................................................................
