Another morning of excellent humidity recovery is underway across northern and central New Mexico. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon into the evening with the southwestern mountains likely observing the most beneficial rainfall. Occasional showers will continue tonight, mainly in the southern half of New Mexico with high humidity again on Thursday morning. Thunderstorms will become more numerous between the Continental Divide and the central mountain chain of New Mexico Thursday afternoon before moving into the eastern plains during the evening. Drier and hotter conditions are forecast for the Fourth of July with very low humidity in much of western and central New Mexico both Friday and Saturday. Storms will increase in eastern New Mexico Sunday before expanding more next week. ................................................................
