After a dry and quiet weather today, southwest winds trend stronger Friday and Saturday. This will create elevated fire weather conditions in the northeast on Saturday, but moist fuels should prevent critical conditions from developing. Scattered storms will favor northern New Mexico Friday night into Saturday, with dry weather returning Sunday.
