Wetting precipitation continues across New Mexico today and into tonight, limiting fire weather concerns across the area. A warming and drying trend is forecast through the weekend, with a slight chance of storms across the eastern plains each afternoon. Humidity values lowering into the low teens to single digits in western and southern New Mexico support the development of elevated fire weather conditions late week. Breezy winds will work to assist this, though are likely to remain between 10-15mph. Precipitation chances begin to increase next week. ................................................................
