Thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall and potential flash flooding will impact central and eastern NM through Wednesday. Any activity along and west of the Continental Divide will produce strong downburst winds with lower rainfall amounts. By Thursday, the focus is expected to be over northeast NM while the rest of central and western NM trends even drier. Friday and Saturday are likely to be the driest days for the entire area with humidity trending to near 10% for portions of western NM. Temperatures will also trend warmer with slight southwest breezes possible over northwest NM. A return to greater storm coverage is possible by early next week over central and western NM. ................................................................
