320 FNUS55 KABQ 071126 FWFABQ Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North and Central New Mexico National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 526 AM MDT Sat Jun 7 2025 .DISCUSSION... While warm, and very dry conditions prevail across southwestern New Mexico this weekend, higher humidity with showers and thunderstorms will be observed in northeastern areas of the state today and tomorrow. Into Monday and Tuesday, moisture will spill westward, allowing showers and thunderstorms to expand in coverage over central and some western areas of New Mexico. The chances for soaking rainfall will peak over the central mountain chain Monday and Tuesday, but many areas farther east and west are expected to observe at least a tenth of an inch of rain each day. Storms will begin to reduce in number on Wednesday with a more pronounced drying trend into Thursday and Friday of next week. ................................................................
