Much drier air will arrive today with warmer temperatures and slight northwest breezes. Even hotter and drier conditions are in store for Saturday across central and western NM. A couple gusty storms may develop over northeast NM Saturday afternoon. Another influx of moisture will arrive Sunday with increasing storm coverage. Storm chances will continue Monday thru Thursday with slow storm motions generally from north to south. A few storms may produce heavy rain with burn scar flash flooding possible. Temperatures will also warm above normal with lower elevation areas in the mid 90s to low 100s next week. ................................................................
