Mostly clear and dry conditions are prevailing this afternoon with breezy conditions ongoing, mostly in eastern New Mexico. Breezes will subside around sunset, but a moist, cold front will enter northeastern New Mexico tonight into Monday morning. This will set the stage for more seasonable temperatures along with showers and thunderstorms through mid week. Scattered thunderstorm activity will be concentrated in east central New Mexico on Monday, gradually expanding to more central and even western areas of the state through Tuesday and Wednesday, however the potential for wetting rainfall will remain low to moderate (about 20 to 60 percent). Drier conditions are then forecast going into Thursday and Friday. ................................................................
