...The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in New Mexico...

  Embudo Creek Below Dixon affecting Rio Arriba County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The next statement will be issued late tonight at 400 AM MDT.

* WHERE...Embudo Creek below Dixon.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM MDT Thursday the stage was 9.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 13.4 feet just after midnight
    tonight. It will then fall below flood stage just after
    midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.
