132 WGUS85 KABQ 170050 FLSABQ Flood Advisory National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 650 PM MDT Sat Aug 16 2025 NMC009-041-170245- /O.NEW.KABQ.FA.Y.0128.250817T0050Z-250817T0245Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Curry NM-Roosevelt NM- 650 PM MDT Sat Aug 16 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central New Mexico, including the following counties, southwestern Curry and northwestern Roosevelt. * WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 649 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Melrose, Saint Vrain and Ranchvale. - Low spots along Highway 60 between Melrose and St. Vrain will be especially susceptible to minor flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
