829 WGUS85 KABQ 030028 FLSABQ Flood Advisory National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 628 PM MDT Wed Jul 2 2025 NMC027-053-030230- /O.NEW.KABQ.FA.Y.0031.250703T0028Z-250703T0230Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Lincoln NM-Socorro NM- 628 PM MDT Wed Jul 2 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following counties, central Lincoln and eastern Socorro. * WHEN...Until 830 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 626 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Central Lincoln and Eastern Socorro Counties. - Drainages impacted include Largo Canyon, from the headwaters to the to the Highway 380 crossing. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
