977 WGUS85 KABQ 212345 FLSABQ Flood Advisory National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 545 PM MDT Mon Jul 21 2025 NMC043-220200- /O.NEW.KABQ.FA.Y.0072.250721T2345Z-250722T0200Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Sandoval NM- 545 PM MDT Mon Jul 21 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of north central New Mexico, including the following county, eastern Sandoval. * WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 544 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.25 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.50 inches are expected over the area. The potential exists for flash flooding to develop. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Santo Domingo Pueblo, Cochiti Pueblo, Cochiti Lake and Pena Blanca. - Canada Camada will be impacted by hazardous flows, as well as numerous other drainages flowing off the southeast slopes of the Jemez Mountains into Cochiti Lake and the Rio Grande. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
