172 WGUS85 KABQ 010133 FLSABQ Flood Advisory National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 733 PM MDT Mon Jun 30 2025 NMC007-010430- /O.NEW.KABQ.FA.Y.0029.250701T0133Z-250701T0430Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Colfax NM- 733 PM MDT Mon Jun 30 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast New Mexico, including the following county, south central Colfax. * WHEN...Until 1030 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 729 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. The potential exists for flash flooding to develop. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Springer, Cimarron, Philmont Scout Ranch and Rayado. - Hazardous water levels are expected in Ponil Creek, the Cimarron River, Cerrososo Creek, Urraca Creek, Chicoso Creek, and Rayado Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
