Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 521 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms between the Pecos River and Long Arroyo. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Due to heavy rain on Sunday, the soil is already saturated across much of east central and southeast Chaves County, where the broad area of torrential rainfall is presently headed. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
