...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM MDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of east central New Mexico, including the
  following county, southeastern Curry.

* WHEN...Until 930 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 734 AM MDT, emergency management reported minor road
    flooding in the advisory area. This is causing urban and
    small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas have
    already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between
    0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.

    Clovis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
