Bernalillo County in central New Mexico... Northwestern Torrance County in central New Mexico... Southwestern Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico... * Until 915 PM MDT. * At 621 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in East Mountains, including Tijeras, Cedar Crest, and Chilili. Areas along 1-40 between Carnuel and Moriarty have also seen extensive rainfall and hazardous driving conditions may exist. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
