East Central Union County in northeastern New Mexico... * Until 1145 PM MDT. * At 934 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in southern Union County, inclduing New Mexico Road 402 and 562. The main drainages and creeks affected are Pinabetes Creek, Carizo Creek, Moscow Creek, and Tramperos Creek. Between 0.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
