In west central New Mexico, Southwest Mountains. This includes the Ruidoso area burn scars. * WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop again this afternoon over the high terrain and eventually migrate into the lower elevations. The slow-moving nature of storms will result in rainfall rates that will exceed two inches per hour.
