...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM MDT THIS MORNING THROUGH
THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
  area, South Central Mountains.

* WHEN...From 11 AM MDT this morning through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms today will be capable of producing heavy
    rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour that could lead to
    flash flooding over recent wildfire burn scars. Burn scars
    around Ruidoso are very vulnerable to flash flooding.
