...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast New
  Mexico, including the following areas, in central New Mexico,
  South Central Mountains. In north central New Mexico, East Slopes
  Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Southern Sangre de Cristo
  Mountains. In northeast New Mexico, Northeast Highlands. This
  includes the Ruidoso area and Hermits Peak Calf Canyon burn scars.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Showers and storms with rainfall rates up to 2 inches per
    hour may result in flash flooding on and downstream of the
    Ruidoso area and the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon burn scars.
