383 WWUS20 KWNS 070023 SEL0 SPC WW 070023 KSZ000-070700- URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 380 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 725 PM CDT Fri Jun 6 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Western into South-Central Kansas * Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 725 PM until 200 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...A mix of supercells and small clusters should spread southeastward this evening into the early overnight hours while posing some threat for large hail up to 1-2 inches in diameter and severe/damaging winds. Peak gusts may reach up to 60-75 mph, especially if an intense cluster can form later this evening. A tornado or two also appears possible. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles north and south of a line from 75 miles west of Garden City KS to 70 miles east of Dodge City KS.
