At 320 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Oppy, or 12 miles east of Inez, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Williamson, Delbarton, Holden, South Williamson, Red Jacket, Chattaroy, Mount Gay-Shamrock, Matewan, Kermit, Verdunville, Chauncey, Myrtle, Switzer, Dingess, Varney, Lenore, and Breeden.
