This week will be defined by a change in the weather. Widespread
precipitation is expected, beginning Tuesday and lingering through
Wednesday. Monday will be seasonable with highs generally in the 60s
and 70s. A cold front crossing the area on Monday, will be followed
by colder temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday. Precipitation on
Tuesday will start off as rain, with snow developing across the
higher elevations of northeastern Wyoming and the Black Hills
Tuesday afternoon and continuing overnight. Heavy snow accumulations
are possible, especially in the northern Black Hills. The rain may
become mixed with light snow on the plains early Wednesday morning,
before ending later Wednesday morning.
